Paula Terry is a vocalist, well known for her talent to sing a wide variety of music styles. From Jazz standards and boss nova, pop, dance music and R&B and she can sing in French, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.
When Paula first came to Japan she was scouted by a Japanese record label to record an album, ‘Just Breakaway’, Paula Terry. The album was released by Toshiba EMI. Paula has also recorded many euro beat style songs with the famous game soft ware company Konami. Through the international release of these songs Paula now has fans from all over the world. Paula is included in the Internet Wikipedia. Paula also recorded for Sony play station and Sega game soft ware.
Paula has performed as a vocalist for many TV commercials.
Paula performed with the famous Bassist Paul Jackson from ‘Herbie Hancock and the Head-hunters’. She also sang with Todd Carver the Fusion jazz guitarist who played with Ester Phillips.
She sang background vocals for the award-winning Japanese actor Oda Yuji. She also appeared with the pop star ‘Echo’ on a televised concert that was also shown throughout Asia.
In 2007 Paula was contracted by Tokyo Disney Sea to perform at the Mira Costa Hotel.
Paula has worked with some wonderful international musicians such as a trio with Jonathen Katz (piano), Andy Wulf (sax), and Mark Turian (bass), To name a few of the many events that Paula has performed at the XO Hennessey promotion event in Osaka with the bassist, Paul Jackson, from ‘Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters’.
Paula has gone on tour to various parts of Japan, with an international dance troupe to perform a dinner review show at top Hotels.
Paula has performed with top Japanese jazz musicians such as the pianist Ken Ishida who played with Carol Sloane and the famous Kei Shibata.
Paula has performed at embassy functions at the Canadian embassy attended by the Japanese emperor’s nephew.
Paula recently performed at a function for the South African Chamber of Commerce, attended by the ambassador of South Africa.

Paula is currently performing as a resident singer at the exclusive new hotel ‘The Tokyo Bay Court.’ Paula performs in the piano bar with well-known pianists such as Greg Mackenzie and Anthony Johnson. Paula also performs at the Shiodome Park Hotel and the exclusive nightclub, Bar Xex.
